Dave and team completed a large rear extension to our house including installing a new kitchen plus a shower room. The team worked quickly & competently to deliver the work to schedule.
Dave brings a lot of experience and made great suggestions i.e. a pitched roof rather than a flat one. The plumbing & tiling work is superb (thanks Jamie & Paul), and Damian has done an amazing job of installing the kitchen, doors plus a stylish larder cupboard. Michael brings decades of experience in plastering & did a beautiful job.
A couple of points for improvement though. First, the solid wood floor in the kitchen was not laid properly that had to be re-done. However, Dave was great and refunded us the labour cost.
Secondly, the electrician Dave had contracted – Danny Mularkhi (Bright Lights) has not finished his work. The under wall units LED lights were not installed. The wiring in the extension has developed a fault (if we plug in an iron, the fuse blows). We tried chasing him for four months to no avail. It seems we will have to pay another electrician to fix this. Danny also never issued us with any electrical safety certificates, so disappointing to say the least.
Thank you so much to Dave and his fantastic team for creating a beautiful space for us. However due to the gaps in the electrical work, we are taking a star off from our review as this bit could’ve been handled better by either Dave or his electrician.
After lots of research looking for a builder, I was delighted to secure the services of Extend Rite Ltd. They were my choice, so was great when they promptly visited and quoted for the job. I was happy with the quote so no one else had a chance. All through the build they have been excellent and I could not have asked for more (which I in fact did and they accommodated my extra asks with no problems at all). Dave and Paul run a great building business and have a fab set of lads in their team, offering suggestions to enhance your project from their wealth of experience and deliver a great outcome. If you are looking for a builder, I would highly recommend them, in fact that is exactly what I will do to anyone and everyone. Thanks guys, we are absolutely delighted with our extension!!!
We chose Extend rite having obtained a few quotes from local loft companies. The quote was competitive and well detailed unlike some of the other quotes we received from competitors. From first meeting Dave we were confident in him and felt reasured the job would be completed professionally. He gave us a timescale on job completion and they have met that .Dave and his team work tirelessly on site and were constantly on the job . We felt confident in leaving the team to crack on with the project whilst me and my wife would be out at work daily. Each day we would return to big transformations. Dave would also offer helpful advice and guidance throughout the build. The job looks exactly as we wanted it to and we are very happy with the end result. Thanks to Dave and all the lads on working so hard,make sure you keep the tea and coffees flowing as the team work up a thirst . Would recommend Extend rite to all and have had many compliments from neighbours on the end result of the loft extension and have passed on Extend rites details to them. Will definitely use Extend rite on any future building projects to our house. Thanks Dave and team!
Really happy with the work carried out. Dave and his colleagues were professional and worked hard. Easy to communicate with and they were happy to discuss building plans. I felt comfortable with them been in our house, and there were trustworthy. My husband and I would recommend them and we would have them back if we were to require building work again. Thank you.
Dave, Paul and the team from Extendrite have done an amazing job on my single storey extension in just four weeks! they have completed and also totally re-landscaped the garden area around it. They turned up early every day and worked solidly to transform my home. I couldn’t be more pleased. I was amazed how they continued to work through the lockdown and keep up with suppliers and social distancing, but then nothing fazes these guys.
Dave said “don’t worry leave it to me”and he was true to his word. They left they property clean and looking stunning!

We are very pleased with the work carried out by David, Paul and their team from Extend Rite in building our large double garage/workshop. A very competitive quote at start and some good ideas about the build from David which we incorporated into the design. David also able to handle the structural calcs needed for Building Control, saving us some extra costs there and also incorporated electrical work, which other builders did not include. Despite significant problems with the weather and more latterly Coronavirus, the team have pushed on to finish the building work in very good time and to a very high standard. We are well satisfied with all aspects of this company and their work. Good communication, easy to get on with and would thoroughly recommend.
With ExtendRite we got a very quick build at a competitive price. Reasonable build quality, but some finishing off lacked care and attention to detail. Unfortunately we were left with some remedial work to sort out and finish off ourselves.
We used Extend Rite for a one story extension of our kitchen diner to include a living space. Dave and his team were very responsive. Dave's quote was very reasonable and he itemised everything included in the costs. The extension looks great, and attention to detail throughout such as the effort to source and match our original brickwork. We've had neighbours comment that it's hard to tell it's an extension. I would recommend Dave and his team and will likely be back in contact for any future work!

Single storey ground floor side extension with wet room and utility: Dave and Paul and their team of professionals did an absolutely superb job of building a side extension with wet room for us, we have never come across such a hard working bunch of lads, The Dream Team we call them, would highly recommend them, Hazel and Michael, Leeds.

Dave and Paul have done a fantastic job building our new extension , guided us through the complete build as this was our first time doing an extension . They gave us lots of ideas and advice of the best way to do things to which we are extremely happy we took their advice as we are now delighted with our new kitchen . We also asked them to do extra jobs which they were happy to do . We would not hesitate in recommending them and also if we have any jobs in the future we would use them again. Thanks to all.
